One Complaint, Thirteen Witnesses
Sarah MooreNine correct picks, the only UCLA ballot, and all four roster slots paying. Kentucky was the one miss. Every other ballot missed it too. Her complaint has plenty of signatures.
Four useful roster results, nine correct picks, and second place. Kentucky ruined the perfect ballot, then sent the same disappointment to twelve other households.
Sarah brought the full crew: Notre Dame beat Stanford 58–7, Tennessee beat Arkansas 24–17, Houston beat Kansas State 35–16, and New Mexico State lost 22–3 to FIU. Three Standard wins and a Toilet loss paid 49.6 game points. Notre Dame and Tennessee each climbed one poll place, Houston climbed two, and Sunday added four more.
Then came the ballot: 9–1, including the only UCLA pick in a room with twelve Oregon believers. The 17–15 UCLA win supplied Sarah one point and everyone else an opportunity for reflection. Kentucky was her only miss. Her 62.6 Week 6 points led the league, and fourth became second at 12.763 PPG. There is one complaint in the suggestion box. It is about LSU.
Sarah’s season total is 306.3, the league’s largest raw total. Hayden still leads on official PPG, 13.609 to 12.763, a gap of 0.847. Sarah has played twenty-four scoring games to Hayden’s twenty-two. The calculator still has the deciding vote.
There is also a bookkeeping update: Sarah now has seven awarded Week 5 picks that were absent from the published Week 5 snapshot. Her total rose 69.6 since that edition: 62.6 from Week 6 and seven from the earlier ballot. Her current season Pick’em total is 44. The old edition stays fixed; this one shows the reconciled account.
Tom made the biggest climb, eleventh to eighth. Indiana beat Nebraska 20–17, Oklahoma State beat UCF 42–28, Illinois beat Michigan State 38–37, and UMass lost 20–19 to Miami (OH). All four slots paid 41.9 game points. Indiana’s two-place climb and four correct picks finished a 47.9-point week, second only to Sarah. Illinois and UMass both handled their assignments by one point. Tom is apparently paying for precision work.
Matt Dillon rose from fifth to fourth, Tori from eighth to sixth, Mo from thirteenth to eleventh, and Jay from fourteenth to thirteenth. Matt Reed slipped to third, Spencer to fifth, Mitch to seventh, Stan to tenth, Rob to twelfth, and Aaron to fourteenth. Hayden, Bryson, Robbie, and Rylan held their addresses. Twelve owners moved again; the elevator is getting regular maintenance.
Hayden’s BYU beat Iowa State 24–10 and Iowa beat Washington 41–24 for 23.1 game points. North Dakota State lost 13–7 to Tori’s UNLV, UL Monroe rested, and Iowa climbed from No. 20 to No. 17. Six correct picks brought the week to 32.1. Hayden remains first, though last week’s 1.415 PPG cushion is down to 0.847.
Matt Reed got Utah’s 41–24 win over Kansas and Northern Illinois’s 28–7 loss to Air Force for 23.8 game points. Kansas State lost to Sarah’s Houston, Michigan rested, and Utah added one poll point. Five correct picks completed 29.8. His 12.245 PPG now sits third, 0.215 ahead of Matt Dillon.
Matt Dillon had Texas Tech and New Mexico on bye, but the two active slots both paid: Navy beat Tulsa 34–26 for 10.8 and Sam Houston lost 35–3 to Liberty for 13.2. Texas Tech climbed one poll place without playing, and an 8–2 ballot made 33.0 overall. Fourth place comes with 12.030 PPG and sole possession of the season Pick’em lead. The idle half of the roster can keep its vacation days.
Spencer’s Alabama lost 20–17 to Jay’s Georgia, Boise State beat Fresno State 38–31, UTEP lost 30–13 to Nevada, and TCU rested. The roster supplied 22.4, the poll netted zero, and four picks made 26.4. Last week’s third-place address lasted one edition. Spencer is fifth at 11.565 PPG.
Stanford followed last week’s 54-point loss with a 51-point loss at Notre Dame. Mitch collected 15.1 Toilet points; Sarah collected the same 15.1 on the Standard side. Charlotte lost 50–10 to North Texas, giving Aaron and Jay matching 14.0-point receipts. Sam Houston’s 32-point loss paid Matt Dillon 13.2 while Bryson’s Liberty collected the same amount. Three games, six owners, and absolutely no agreement about what to root for.
Northern Illinois paid Matt Reed 12.1, New Mexico State paid Sarah 11.9, UTEP paid Spencer 11.7, Arkansas paid Mo 10.7, and UMass paid Tom 10.1. Eight of the twelve active Toilet teams lost. Stanford wins Employee of the Weak again. Consistency is a valuable workplace quality, even when it looks like this.
The four holdouts were Purdue, Ohio, Arizona State, and Oregon State. Purdue beat Minnesota 41–13, Ohio beat Central Michigan 31–14, Arizona State beat Hawai’i 30–12, and Oregon State beat San Diego State 66–14. Stan’s Toilet team won by 52 and paid zero; Robbie’s Standard team lost by 52 and also paid zero. That is a very large amount of football to produce the same empty envelope.
Mitch’s LSU lost 35–34 at Kentucky and fell from No. 10 to No. 22. The twelve-point deduction reduced a week with 15.1 game points and six picks to just 9.1 overall. Toledo lost 23–8 to Buffalo, SMU rested, and Stanford supplied every roster point. Last week all four departments reported. This week the cleaning crew worked alone, then accounting took most of the money.
Rob’s Oregon lost 17–15 to UCLA and fell out from No. 13, a thirteen-point deduction. Army beat Tulane 20–17 and Arizona beat West Virginia 52–31 for 22.4 game points; Colorado rested. Six picks left Rob with 15.4 for the week and a move from tenth to twelfth. The roster had receipts. Sunday had a shredder.
Bryson’s Texas lost 27–24 to Mo’s Oklahoma and dropped from No. 1 to No. 7, costing six. Ole Miss beat Vanderbilt 52–17 and Liberty beat Sam Houston 35–3 for 26.7 game points, while Ohio won in the Toilet slot. Seven picks brought the week to 27.7 and kept Bryson ninth. Georgia took over No. 1 for Jay, Ohio State climbed one for Mo, and idle Miami and Texas Tech climbed one for Tori and Matt Dillon. The poll continues to charge separately for the entertainment.
Tori’s UNLV beat North Dakota State by six and Virginia beat Syracuse by three, supplying 20.9 game points. Miami rested and gained a poll place, Purdue won in the wrong slot, and seven correct picks completed 28.9. Eighth becomes sixth. Mo collected 33.9 game points from Ohio State’s 45–16 win, Oklahoma’s three-point win over Texas, and Arkansas’s seven-point loss to Tennessee. One Ohio State poll point and five picks made 39.9, lifting Mo two places to eleventh.
Jay’s Georgia beat Alabama by three and North Texas beat Charlotte by forty for 24.3 game points. Washington lost to Iowa, Georgia State rested, Georgia’s new No. 1 ranking added one, and seven picks made 32.3. Jay climbed one to thirteenth. Stan got only James Madison’s 27–24 win over Georgia Southern for 10.3. Louisiana lost by one, Fresno State lost by seven, Oregon State won, and no Week 6 ballot was recorded. Seventh became tenth.
Aaron’s three Standard teams all lost again: Penn State to USC, South Florida to UTSA, and Hawai’i to Arizona State. Charlotte’s forty-point loss supplied every roster point, 14.0. Seven picks brought the week to 21.0, but twelfth became fourteenth. The plumbing department would like its name on the building.
Robbie’s Memphis beat UAB 38–13 and Louisville beat Florida State 44–20 for 24.9. San Diego State lost by 52, Boston College rested, and no ballot arrived. Rylan got only USC’s 31–23 win at Penn State for 10.8: Texas A&M and Rice lost, Arizona State won in the Toilet slot, and no picks were recorded. Robbie and Rylan remain fifteenth and sixteenth.
Sarah’s 9–1 led thirteen submitted ballots. Matt Dillon followed at 8–2. Aaron, Bryson, Jay, and Tori went 7–3; Hayden, Mitch, and Rob went 6–4; Matt Reed and Mo went 5–5; Spencer and Tom went 4–6. Stan, Robbie, and Rylan had no Week 6 picks recorded. Missing ballots stay separate from incorrect answers.
Kentucky’s 35–34 win over LSU rewarded zero of thirteen picks. The unanimous ambush is back after a week off. UCLA rewarded Sarah alone. Georgia’s 20–17 win over Alabama rewarded six: Sarah, Matt Dillon, Mitch, Tom, Bryson, and Tori. Indiana and Utah rewarded everyone, BYU rewarded eleven, and Boise State rewarded twelve. Even a ballot box with three nearly unanimous successes can find ways to send people home annoyed.
Matt Dillon broke last week’s tie with Mo: 51 season winners to 48. Aaron follows at 47, Mitch at 46, and Rob and Tori at 45. Matt Reed and Sarah have 44; Hayden and Bryson have 43; Stan and Tom have 42; Jay has 41; Spencer has 37. Robbie and Rylan remain at zero. Matt’s adjoining penthouse now has the whole floor.
Nine correct picks, the only UCLA ballot, and all four roster slots paying. Kentucky was the one miss. Every other ballot missed it too. Her complaint has plenty of signatures.
Thirteen LSU picks. Zero winners. Kentucky won 35–34, then LSU fell twelve poll places. Mitch received both the ballot disappointment and the itemized invoice.
A 58–7 loss at Notre Dame paid 15.1 Toilet points. After last week’s 54-point defeat, Stanford trimmed the margin to 51. Management has asked them not to improve too quickly.
Indiana, Oklahoma State, and Illinois won; UMass lost by one. The roster paid 41.9, Indiana added two poll points, and four picks completed 47.9. Eleventh to eighth. Even the small package counted.
A 17–15 loss to UCLA sent Oregon from No. 13 out of the poll. Army and Arizona supplied 22.4 game points; thirteen poll points promptly disappeared. Sarah had the only ballot that enjoyed the Oregon result.
An 8–2 week brings Matt to 51 season winners, three ahead of Mo. Navy and Sam Houston also paid, Texas Tech climbed while idle, and fifth became fourth. Two leaderboards, one useful weekend.

Winning-side support among thirteen submitted ballots. Kentucky rewarded nobody; UCLA rewarded Sarah alone.
Hayden still leads, Sarah owns the week, Tom owns the biggest climb, and Matt Dillon owns the Pick'em penthouse. Kentucky fooled the entire room. UCLA fooled everyone but Sarah. Stanford remains a dependable employee, and Charlotte remains Aaron’s entire roster accounting department. Root for the Standard, root against the Toilet, and open the poll bill while seated.
